I met Nick and Beth in June for their family pictures. Beth was 34 weeks pregnant with the couples first child. A girl. They knew they were going to hire a photographer to help capture the memory of her first few days, and the mile stones of the first year. After what seemed like forever and a day, little miss Maci arrived on August 7th, and I was the lucky photographer called to create their beautiful memories.
Nick warned me over the phone that his little girl was very well-behaved, but I was preparing for the typical newborn session. Miss Maci was NOT a typical newborn, in fact, she was the best 10 day old person I have held. Beautiful. Precious. Daddy’s Girl.
She is already starting her modeling career, with a cute bubble bee hat from Pink Toad.
I loved how she was holding her finger. Very peaceful. Very innocent.
This gem was a very easy baby. Her entire session was less than 2 hours, start to finish, and that included talking time with her proud parents. I am very impressed, and I can not wait to watch her grow into a toddler. It never ceases to amaze me at how tiny we are at birth, and how fast we grow.
It was very hard to choose which images I was going to feature in my blog this morning. I have decided to end it with just one more. I take this shot of all newborns, and it is one of my personal favorites every time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
